Creating triangle units can be daunting. What types of triangles are needed, what is there placement and are there “quick methods” to make them? First, we address the correct placement of half square triangles (HST) and the quarter square triangle (QST) question of orientation. You will see a demonstration that shows how mirror image units are made. Then we will discuss how to make “matching” units and how these are used in quilt design.
