Session 1: Introduction

So this video is designed to guide you through that process from start to finish. In the first session, first thing's first, you're going to learn the secrets to a successful design, from the analysis of your current situation to defining your vision for the perfect space, from storage to furniture, I'll get you started off on the right foot. Then you're going to learn how to create a professional layout. And that's gonna include all your electrical and lighting considerations. Finishes are the next step, and we'll delve into color, flooring choices, and window treatments. And, when it comes to finishing touches or accessories, well, that's where you can have a lot of fun. You're gonna discover how you can turn storage into accessories and learn the tricks for perfect organization for everything that you need to have in your studio. To tie everything together, I'm gonna take you on a photographic tour of my own studio. And then there's a bonus project. We're gonna make a quick and easy machine organizer to keep your tools right at your fingertips while you're sowing. You're also going to learn how to make double fold, or French, binding and you're going to have a lot of fun doing it because it's fast, easy, and it's cute.
