Involve the kiddos in the crafting studio using this idea from Mary Beth Temple. By investing in pastels or markers designed for use on fabric, your little ones can get involved in the creative process. Pre-wash and iron your fabric and let the kiddos draw their very own artwork on the fabric. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions to make the designs permanent, and incorporate the fabric into a quilt or garment to immortalize a moment in their childhood.

What types of products work for this idea? I’ve never heard of pastels for fabric.

Can you recommend good fabric pastels and markers?
