I've been thinking about trying to use monofilament....You say to use a needle with a large eye. What am I looking for in a large eye? Brand, size, etc? Thanks. Linda R

Here's a quick tip for you. If you're using clear monofilament thread, use the right needle. Use a large eyed needle if you can and lower the top tension a little bit. If you really don't want to use that monofilament, try using 100 weight silk thread, it will act pretty much the same way in your stitching, but it won't be quite as tricky to use as the monofilament.
