Join Colleen Tauke to learn the various ways to cut the quarter square triangles (QST). Whether you use a traditional cutting method or a special tool there aren’t many shortcuts for this unit. You will learn tips for stabilizing the fabric with starch or spray sizing and see a demonstration on the construction of the four-color unit. You will also learn about creating opposing seams, how to pop open the center seam to reduce bulk and how to trim over-sized units for perfect sized finished units.
