Your Instructor
Colleen Tauke
Colleen Tauke is a quilter, designer, and quilt educator with 40+ years of sewing experience. Of those, the last 17 years have been focused around quilting.
Early in her quilting endeavors, she was challenged to piece a quilt that seemed daunting. Fussy cutting, Y-seams, strip piecing, hourglass blocks, a pieced border, and appliqué—all in ONE quilt. This was her first bed sized quilt that would later become a quilt shop sample and win third-place at the Iowa State Fair in the “My First Quilt” division. Since then, she was hooked!
